This is what it is for the money. It may not be the best course around, but it's middle of the pack. I'm there 40-50 rounds a year. Where else can you walk on the weekend for $17. They could improve the course and speed of play by moving some things around on the front, but there's no point to them investing the money when they're still busy. Some things that don't make sense are the trio of long par 3's on the front (201 yds, 224 yds, & 228 yds). Most of the people that play there can't even reach #6 and #9 with a driver, and it's a par 35. They should move the tee back on #6 and make it into a par 4, making it a par 36. They could also make #8 much more interesting if they made it into a dog leg left with the mounds and trees on the bend as a risk reward by trying to cut the dog leg. Besides, they can't seem to grow grass on the green where it is now and #7 and #8 are almost the same exact hole. They really need to cut down the tree covering half of the green on #11 also. There should be a clear shot when you're in the middle of a fairway on a dog leg. The greens are small and you get hurt when missing them since a lot of the lies around them are patchy, and not lush grass. It's where I play most of my golf because some friends are members, but all in all it's still a challenging course.

Good location, good price. Good pace at certain times of the week. Otherwise, you are happier somewhere else.
